NAPSTaR Neonatal, Adult and Paediatric Safe Transfer and Retrieval

Description

NAPSTaR Neonatal, Adult and Paediatric Safe Transfer and Retrieval ALSG’s medical education & training programmes improve outcomes for people in life-threatening situations, anywhere along the health care pathway, anywhere in the world.

All patients are vulnerable when it comes to transfer ; and the time spent transferring presents increased risk to the patient in that it’s time not spent treating.Furthermore, the challenges posed in transferring are substantial, both clinical and non-clinical.

To minimise these risks and respond successfully to these challenges, the NAPSTaR course presents ACCEPT, a structured approach to neonatal, adult and paediatric transfers, and the knowledge of the processes involved in the transportation of the sick neonate, child or adult, emphasising the preparation required prior to transfer.
